Vigilant can design and manufacture a built-in humidor cabinet in any size, shape or configuration. We have turned small cabinet openings into electronically controlled and humidified cigar humidors. The most requested style of cabinet is a humidor insert into an existing piece of furniture, a bar, wall, closet or kitchen cabinet.

Father Matthew |

This custom cigar cabinet was designed for a Priest named Father Matthew. He wanted to incorporate maple, tiger maple and black walnut to match his existing furniture. The humidor now lives in a rectory. All of the fine details of the cigar cabinet are in-laid black walnut. The tiger maple appears on the front of the door and the drawer. The maple frames the outside of the cabinet. The Father Matthew receives a custom humidification system as well, similair to a Guardian 1500.

Ritz Credenza |

The Ritz Carlton in Virginia approached Vigilant looking for an electronic humidor that they could wheel to and from guests rooms, tables with in the restaurants, as well as within the halls and lobby's of the hotel. We created a custom humidor on wheels that holds loose cigars, boxes of cigars, cutters and accessories, such as matches. The top of the credenza is glass, allowing guests to see their purchase and to buy directly off the cart. The side of the credenza has a bar for easy pushing. The custom cabinet shown is Mahogany with a chestnut finish. The Ritz Credenza can be sold with and without wheels, to be used as an immobile credenza - the push bar is also optional.

Reliance 1800 Tower |

This humidor was designed by Vigilant's founder and was intended to resemble a lingerie chest. The body is tiger maple, the stand, drawer details and in-lay are all black walnut.

Reliance 1000 in Bird's Eye Maple |

This cigar cabinet is an example of how we can take any of our standard cabinets and customize them to whatever wood or stain you choose. Shown here is a Reliance 1000 built with maple and bird's eye maple with a clear finish. The customer had a lot of light colored woods in their home and wanted a cabinet that could blend in with the decor and truly be used as an end table.

Lockers |
|
Vigilant first developed lockers for Bill's Sports Bar in Florida. Bill's was looking for a set of lockers that they had never seen before- "out of the ordinary"- a unique storage system that would match the decor of the bar. To achieve this goal, we used Tiger Maple and Honduran Mahogany to create an almost quilt like pattern. A special electronic system was created, to ensure that each individual locker got proper humidification. Each locker is keyed seperately, meaning they each have their own locking system, ensuring security. Lockers can be built in any size or any wood.

Antiqued (Distressed) Pine 1500 |
|
This rustic custom humidor was designed for a customer that had many pieces of antique pine furniture. Vigilant set out to create a cigar cabinet that would fit into the customer's home and match all of the other pieces. A secret aging technique had to be used to age and rust the hardware used on the knobs and hinges. The custom humidification system used in this custom cigar cabinet is similar to the the Guardian 1500 system.
